Rules Clarification - Junkyard Challenge (Div C)

1. Teams must prepare to build an AD for either challenge: Tipping the Scale OR Coin Sorter. Teams will be informed as to which challenge is to be met AFTER THEIR MATERIALS BOX IS IMPOUNDED at the tournament.

2. Only one materials box should be brought for impound. The box is impounded FIRST, then the teams are informed about the exact challenge.

3. All teams must check in and impound their materials box 8:30 – 9:30. Final directions will be given to teams at that time. Teams who do not impound before 9:30 will be considered No Show.

4. Mystery material will be given to each team when they check in for the session in which they are competing. This material must be incorporated into the final AD in an essential way, i.e. the device will not operate correctly if the mystery material is not there.

5. Teams will have a maximum of 30 minutes to build their devices.
