2017 New Jersey Science Olympiad Registration

Registration is OPEN

Registration procedures for the 2017 New Jersey Science Olympiad season have been posted


07-Oct: Thanks to the generosity of our facilities sponsors, it will not be necessary for us to collect an additional fee from schools advancing to the State Finals Tournament. Rule #12 has been rescinded.

17-Sep: The NJSO Steering Committee has decided to rescind rule 11(b) related to the placement of schools electing to register two teams.

North Jersey Arts and Science Charter Elementary Tournament - Location TBA - Saturday May 13, 2017
West Amwell Elementary Tournament - West Amwell ESC School - Friday February 24, 2017

National Science Olympiad - Wright State University, Dayton, OH - May 19-20, 2017

Congratulations to our 2016 Champions on their Nationals Performances!

Community MS earned 15th place with medals in the silver medal in Meteorology, bronze medals in Bridge Building and Elastic Launched Glider and 4th place medals in Picture This and Wind Power.

West Windsor-Plainsboro HS North earned 11th place with gold medals in Anatomy & Physiology, Game On and Protein Modeling along with a silver medal in Invasive Species.


The members of the NJ Science Olympiad Steering Committee extend our sincere thanks to Middlesex County College for hosing the 2017 State Finals Tournaments along with Camden County College, New Jersey Institute of Technology and Union County College for hosting 2017 regional tournaments. We appreciate your generous hospitality and support of Science Olympiad. Thank you, also, to all those event officials and other volunteerswho share their time, expertise and love of science with the students by running or assisting with events and tournaments. We could not have successful tournaments without you.
